Common questions about the SkyTab system.

Is the hardware really free, or is it bundled into the rate?

Qualifying service plans include the standard hardware package at no upfront charge. The processing rate covers the equipment amortization the way most dealerships do it, but the way we quote it is transparent: you see the rate, you see what’s included, nothing gets added later. If your configuration needs more than the standard bundle, we price the difference up front.

Can I keep using my existing menu structure and reporting exports?

Yes. We migrate your menu, modifiers, and tax structure from whatever system you’re coming off of. SkyTab Lighthouse exports to CSV and integrates with the common accounting stacks (QuickBooks, Xero), so your bookkeeper’s workflow doesn’t break.

What happens if the internet goes down mid-service?

SkyTab handhelds and terminals keep accepting payments in an offline mode; transactions queue locally and settle when the connection comes back. For cellular fallback, the handhelds include 4G. Internet outages don’t stop service.

Do I have to take the full lineup, or can I start smaller?

You start with what makes sense for your floor. A two-terminal café doesn’t need a KDS on day one. We size the install to your actual service flow and scale it, handhelds, kiosks, a second KDS screen, as you grow.
